Airat N. Khabibov is Occupational Health Manager - Deputy Director of Production Operations, SUEK Coal Mining Company. He manages corporate occupational health and medical services for employees, including preventive care. Dr. Khabibov received his medical degree in 1990 and has professional experience in medical emergency and medevac. After residency in social hygiene and epidemiology in 1996, he worked in management positions in the public and private health sectors. In 2003, he earned his Master's in International Health Care Management at Bocconi University, Milan, Italy. His Bocconi internship was in the United States, working in employee health programs, compliance monitoring and workplace services for employees with alcohol and drug addictions. Since 2004, Dr. Khabibov has worked in the occupational health field, managing corporate medical services in metallurgy, oil and gas up-stream, and mining companies. His practical and scientific interests are the elaboration of corporate health management systems, medical emergency response planning and applied epidemiology.
